Using the options grouped under Additional Filters, you can filter the data in Revenue Analytics by any combination of the following project attributes:
Project Type
Project Manager
Customer
Proposals
For each attribute, you can one or more attribute values. For example, if you want to view revenue information for projects with either of two project types, you can select those types in the Project Type list, and the analytics display information only for projects assigned one of those two types.
If you select one or more attribute values and then go to another Costpoint Analytics tab for which those filter options are available, Costpoint Analytics automatically filters those analytics for the same values.
The project types, project managers, customers, and proposals for which you can analyze data are determined by the organizations you can access in Costpoint Analytics. The filter lists include only those attribute values that are assigned to one or more projects owned by the organizations to which you have access.
Proposals are potential contracts that your firm hopes to win. These contracts are not yet committed or funded, but indicate what work may need to be performed in the future. Proposals are usually budgeted with revenue and cost amounts.
The proposal number and name are loaded as part of the budget or forecast process.
Use the Proposals attribute to select from the following for inclusion in the filter process:
Projects Only — Select this option to only include Costpoint projects in the filter process.
Proposals Only — Select this option to only include proposals in the filter process.
All — This is the default. Select this option to include both projects and proposals in the filter process.
