Use the Owning Org list to filter the contents of the analytics by owning organization. When you display the analytics initially, they display projects at risk data for all of the organizations to which you have access.
If you select Reorg on the User Options tab, the Owning Org list on the Projects at Risk tab changes to the Owning Reorg list. Use that list to filter the contents of the analytics by reorganization. For more information on selecting the option to filter by reorganization on the User Options tab, see Organization or Reorganization.
Whether you filter by organization or by reorganization, Costpoint Analytics includes projects in Projects at Risk Analytics based on their owning organization.
If you select one or more organizations or reorganizations and then go to another tab, Costpoint Analytics automatically filters those analytics for the same organizations or reorganizations.
You can view organizations at any level of the organization structure (for example, a list of organizations at the lowest organization level).
To change your view, click one or more times until the list for the level you want is displayed.
The list for an organization level contains all organizations at that level. The same list options are available for reorganizations if you choose to filter by reorganization.
The organization access that your system administrator sets up for your Costpoint Analytics user role determines the organizations for which you can view analytic information:
The Owning Org filter list does not include organizations to which you do not have access.
Summarized at-risk amounts for higher level organizations only include at-risk amounts for the organizations to which you have access. As a result, at-risk amounts for an organization may be partial amounts if you do not have access to all lower level organizations below it in the organization hierarchy.
If you select the Reorg option on the User Options tab, you can filter the analytics by reorganization rather than by organization. Costpoint Analytics may not include all of the reorganizations to which you have access in Costpoint. Your system administrator selects the reorganizations available in Costpoint Analytics as part of the configuration process.
The organization access set up for your Costpoint Analytics user role determines your access to the reorganizations that are brought into Costpoint Analytics:
The Owning Reorg filter list does not include reorganizations to which you do not have access.
You do not have access to a reorganization if you do not have access to any of the organizations mapped to that reorganization.
You have access to a reorganization if you have access to at least one organization mapped to that reorganization. However, at-risk amounts for a reorganization may be partial amounts if you do not have access to all organizations mapped to that reorganization.
At-risk amounts for higher level reorganizations only include at-risk amounts for the reorganizations to which you have access. As a result, at-risk amounts for a reorganization may be partial amounts if you do not have access to all lower level reorganizations below it in the reorganization hierarchy.
To focus on one organization or a selected group of organizations, select those organizations in Owning Org. When you do, the analytics display risk information only for projects owned by the selected owning organizations.
If you are analyzing data by reorganization rather than by organization, select the reorganizations on which you want to focus in Owning Reorg.
