Deltek provides a set of standard risk reasons for Projects at Risk Analytics. Your system administrator selects from that set the risks that your firm wants to monitor.
The following describes each of the available risk reasons, including how Costpoint Analytics determines if a project is at risk for the reason, how it calculates the at-risk amount, and whether risk is calculated for billing-level projects or revenue-level projects.
All amounts in the calculations are project inception to date (ITD).
The amount billed exceeds the contract value by more than the acceptable risk amount.
The amount billed exceeds the funded value by more than the acceptable risk amount.
The budgeted costs for periods after the contract end date exceed the acceptable risk amount.
The actual costs charged to the project after the contract end date exceed the acceptable risk amount.
