Map of an Analytics Tab

This illustration identifies the main components of an analytics tab.

Move from One Set of Analytics to Another

To move from Costpoint Analytics - Summary to the detailed analytics, click the label for one of the summary analytics areas. For example, to go to the detail analytics in Costpoint Analytics - Projects, you can click Profit, Revenue, Projects at Risk, or Backlog.

____________________

To move from one of the detailed analytics applications (Costpoint Analytics - Projects, for example)  to another analytics application, complete the following steps:

  1. Click the down arrow in the navigation box in the upper-left corner of the page.

  2. Select the application you want from the drop-down list.

  3. Click Go.

If your firm only has Capture Analytics, this navigation box is not displayed because you can use the tabs to navigate to all of the analytics.

____________________

To move from one set of analytics to another within one of the analytics applications, click the tab for those analytics.

You can only move to the tabs to which your system administrator gives you access. If you do not have access to a tab, that tab is not visible.

View or Change User Options

To review or change your user options in Costpoint Analytics, click the User Options tab. (Capture Analytics does not have a User Options tab.)

You use the User Options tab to make some basic choices about the data displayed in the analytics (for example, whether budget data comes from your baseline budget or from a forecast budget). In addition to affecting the data represented in the analytics, these choices can also affect the filter options that are available and the labels used for screen objects.
