Data Item |
Description |
AR balance |
Total AR as of the current date or end date of the latest period in the analysis period. |
Unbilled |
Total unbilled as of the current date or end date of the latest period in the analysis period: ITD revenue – ITD billing If prior year revenue adjustments are included in the PSR tables, ITD revenue amounts may include those revenue adjustments, depending on how Costpoint Analytics is configured. For more information, see Adjustment Period. |
DSO |
90-day DSO value as of the current date or end date of the latest period in the analysis period. |
Note: In two situations, Costpoint Analytics displays dashes (–) instead of unbilled and DSO values:
If you make selections in either the Invoice Aging Ranges list or the Invoice ID list. Because those selections filter the analytics at the invoice level, meaningful unbilled and DSO values cannot be calculated. The lowest level that unbilled and DSO values are calculated is the top project level.
If the Costpoint Analytics data model does not contain the revenue amounts required to calculate the unbilled and DSO values.
For more information on AR data and how DSO is calculated, see AR and DSO: Data Sources and AR and DSO: Key Concepts.
By default, the Unbilled and DSO by Attribute table displays data by top-level organization, but you have the option to display the distribution by any of the following:
Any organization or reorganization level
Customer
Project type
Project manager
Top-level project
To change the analyzed attribute, do either of the following in the first column of the table:
Right-click and select the attribute you want.
Left-click one or more times to cycle through the attributes until the one you want is displayed.
If you apply filters before you change the analyzed attribute, the table only displays distributions for attribute values that satisfy those filters. For example, if you select two project types in the Project Type list under Additional Filters and then use to display the distribution by customer type, the table only displays AR amounts for those two project types.
The following options on the User Options tab affect this table:
Org or Reorg
For a description of how this option affects AR and DSO Analytics, see User Options That Affect AR and DSO.
Click to display the table at its maximum size so you can read it and interact with it more easily. Click to restore the table to its original size and location on the tab.
You can narrow the focus of this table by selecting one attribute value.
If you focus the table in this way, Costpoint Analytics applies the same change, as appropriate, to all other analytic objects.
To sort the table based on the values in one of the columns, double-click the column heading for that column.
To change the sort order from ascending to descending or from descending to ascending, double-click the column heading of the current sort column.
