Use the Show Month As Numeric option under Calendar vs. Fiscal Period to indicate if you want fiscal periods labeled by month name or by period number.
This setting applies to all detailed project analytics.
You make this selection separately in Costpoint Analytics – Employee Configuration for the detailed employee analytics. The two settings need not be the same.
Select No in Show Month as Numeric under Calendar vs. Fiscal Period if all of the following are true:
You have 12 monthly fiscal periods.
Your fiscal year begins January 1.
You want the periods labeled using month names rather than period numbers.
If you select No in Show Month as Numeric, Costpoint Analytics labels the fiscal periods using month abbreviations: Jan, Feb, and so on.
In all other cases, select Yes in Show Month as Numeric. Costpoint Analytics then labels the fiscal periods using period numbers: 01, 02, and so on.
Normally, you do not need to change this setting. You may need to change it, however, if you change the beginning date of your fiscal year or you change the distribution of fiscal periods within the year.
