Forecasted revenue for a month, quarter, or year

Sum of the monthly forecasted revenue for the month, quarter, or year for all included opportunities.

Monthly forecasted revenue for an opportunity — Unweighted or weighted pipeline amount ÷ Number of months of forecasted revenue

Unweighted pipeline amount — The source for pipeline amounts is the Opportunity table in GovWin Capture Management. The specific GovWin Capture Management field is the field assigned to Pipeline 1 Amount or Pipeline 2 Amount in Capture Analytics Configuration.

Weighted pipeline amount — The opportunity pipeline amount (see above) weighted by applying the opportunity's probability to that amount. The source for opportunity probability is the Probability field in the Opportunity table in GovWin Capture Management.

Months of forecasted revenue for an opportunity — The number of months (partial or complete) between the date the contract is expected to begin and the date it is expected to end. The source for these dates is the Opportunity table in GovWin Capture Management. The specific GovWin Capture Management fields are the fields assigned to Revenue Forecast Start Date and Revenue Forecast End Date in CRM Analytics Configuration.

Forecasted revenue for a stage

Sum of forecasted revenue for the month, quarter, or year for all included opportunities currently assigned to that stage.

Stage — The source for an opportunity's stage is the Stage field in the Opportunity table in GovWin Capture Management.

Forecasted revenue for a probability range

Sum of forecasted revenue for the month, quarter, or year for all included opportunities with a probability within that range.

Probability — The source for opportunity probability is the Probability field in the Opportunity table in GovWin Capture Management.

Forecasted revenue for a pipeline amount range

Sum of forecasted revenue for the month, quarter, or year for all included opportunities with a pipeline amount within that range.

Percentage contribution to forecasted revenue for a stage or range

Forecasted revenue for the month, quarter, or year for the stage or range ÷ Total forecasted revenue for the month, quarter, or year.

Pipeline amount not included in forecast

Sum of the pipeline amounts for opportunities in the current pipeline that were not included in forecasted revenue because one or both of the dates required to determine the allocation time period are missing.

Required dates — The required dates are those entered in the GovWin Capture Management fields specified in Revenue Forecast Start Date and Revenue Forecast End Date in Capture Analytics Configuration. If those one or both of those date fields are empty in GovWin Capture Management for an opportunity, Capture Analytics cannot calculate a monthly forecasted revenue amount for that opportunity.
