The Current Pipeline Detail table is a tool for determining quickly the individual opportunities underlying the summary data presented in the other analytics on the Current Pipeline tab.
For example, suppose that when you review the Current Pipeline Breakout chart for the current year, you notice that the pipeline associated with the In Protest stage for the second quarter is abnormally high. To research the situation, you click on that bar in the chart to focus the Current Pipeline Analytics on that quarter, and you click on the layer for the In Protest stage in that bar to filter for that stage. When you then display the Current Pipeline Detail table, it is already filtered to show only the opportunities that are assigned to the In Protest stage and that have an analysis date in the second quarter. You can quickly review the relevant opportunities and their pipeline amounts, determine the responsible principals or project managers, and so on.
When your firm implements Capture Analytics, it can select two amount fields from opportunity records in GovWin Capture Management to analyze as pipeline. The options under Pipeline Amount enable you to apply the analytics to either of those two amounts. When you select one of the options, Capture Analytics displays pipeline amounts calculated from amounts in that field in the opportunity records.
The Unweighted and Weighted options under Pipeline Probability Weighting provide the additional option to display either unweighted pipeline amounts or weighted pipeline amounts (pipeline amounts with the probabilities applied).
Capture Analytics calculates the weighted pipeline amount for each opportunity as follows: Unweighted pipeline amount × (Probability ÷ 100).
Click to display the table at its maximum size so you can read it and interact with it more easily. Click to restore the table to its original size and location on the tab.
You can narrow the focus of this table by clicking a cell in the table. The table is filtered based on the value in that cell. For example, if you click a cell in the Principal column, Capture Analytics updates the table to display only rows for that principal's opportunities.
If you focus the table in this way, Capture Analytics applies the same change, as appropriate, to all other analytic objects.
To sort the table based on the values in one of the columns, double-click the column heading for that column.
To change the sort order from ascending to descending or from descending to ascending, double-click the column heading of the current sort column.
Click to send the data underlying the table to Microsoft Excel. More...
