Associate an Opportunity with a Kona Space

For an opportunity not currently associated with a Kona space, you can use options on the Collaboration tab of the Opportunities area to associate it with an existing Kona space or create a new space for it. For an opportunity that is currently associated with a space, you can associate it with a different space.

Prerequisites: This option is only available if your firm has implemented integration with Kona Business and you are a member of that Kona Business account. If you are going to select a Kona space that already exists, you must be a member of that space.

To associate an opportunity with a Kona space, complete the following steps:

1. Click to go to the Opportunities area.
2. Use the search field immediately above the opportunity title to select the opportunity.
3. Click the Collaboration tab.
4. Do one of the following:
   • If the opportunity is not currently associated with a Kona space, click Associate Kona Space in the upper-right corner of the tab.
   • If the opportunity is currently associated with a Kona space and you want to associate it with a different space, click Change Kona Space in the upper-right corner of the tab.
5. In the drop-down list, do one of the following:
   • If the space already exists in Kona, select it in the list.
   • If the space does not already exist, select + New Kona Space to create a space with the same name as the opportunity.

   Result: iAccess does the following:

   • Creates a new space for the opportunity in Kona with the same name as the opportunity, if you selected that option
   • Associates the space with the opportunity and displays it on the Collaboration tab
   • Invites all employees who are currently listed on the Team tab to join the space
