Set Up Users in Security
Users are individuals who use the Ajera CRM application. When you implement Ajera CRM security, you must create a user record for each individual who will use Ajera CRM.
There are different methods for setting up user records. Each user must have a user record and username in Ajera CRM, no matter which method you select.
You can create new user records in the following ways:
- Use the Generate Users tab of the Users form to create multiple user records and associate usernames with employee records already entered in the Employee Info Center. This is the recommended method for creating users because you can create the usernames, assign users to a role, and generate passwords all at one time.
- Use the General tab of the Users form to create new user records for people who do not have an employee record in the Employee Info Center.
- Use the Copy option on the toolbar of the Users form to copy an existing user's record, modify the record, and save changes. When you copy a user record, the new user record automatically inherits the first user's access rights and privileges, including record-level security.
