Convert Reference Number Formats

Use the Reference Numbers Key Format utility to determine the length of your reference numbers.

Reference numbers are used for a number of different values. They do not have to be unique because they are often used in unrelated tables.

Prerequisite: Back up your Ajera CRM database.

To reformat reference numbers:

1. From the Ajera CRM Navigation menu, click Utilities > Key Formats > Reference Numbers.
2. Complete the fields on the Key Convert Reference Numbers Format form.
3. Review the Sample Value field to see the format as it will be after the key conversion is run.
4. Click Run.
