Voiding a deposit

If you entered a deposit through Manage > Bank Register, you must void it by deleting it from Manage > Bank Register.

If you entered a deposit through Manage > Client Receipts, you must void it through Manage > Client Receipts.

When working with the Manage > Bank Register

  1. From the Manage menu, click Bank Register.
  2. If the transactions you want to void are not for the bank account listed, select a different bank account.
  3. Click the row for the deposit you want to void, and click the Delete button. Ajera marks the Voided check box to indicate that the deposit was voided.

When working with Manage > Client Receipts

  1. From the Manage menu, click Client Receipts.
  2. Click the Deposits tab.
  3. If you need to change the deposits that appear in the list, you can click (Change View) and make selections on the Change View window.
  4. You can only void a deposit that has not been cleared. Click the deposit that you want to void, and click the Void button.
  1. Click Yes to void the deposit.
