Client Receipt Register report

Use this report to view a list of client receipts for a specified time period. It includes information such as the type of receipt and the deposit date.

You can drill down to view detailed information for the invoice associated with a receipt, such as the total paid and the breakdown of that total for labor, expense, and consultants.

Producing the report

From the Reports menu, click Client > Client Receipt Register.

Report options

Option

Description

Company

Multi-company only. The report contains information for all companies in your organization, unless you select a specific company in this field.

Client

The report contains information for all clients with receipts for the period selected unless you select a specific client in this field.

Date range

The report contains information for the current week unless you select a different date in this field.

After changing report options, click (Refresh). 

Customize options

Option

Description

Report title

You can change the title of the report.

Sort order

Sorts the report by bank, client, client type, billing manager, project, and department. If you use multi-company, you can also sort by company linked to the project or company linked to the client receipt.

When sorting by bank, the pending deposits print on the first page with the receipts by bank on subsequent pages.

When sorting by department, Ajera groups the receipts by the department entered in Setup > Projects for the project, not the phase.

Use drilldown

If selected, you can drill down to further detail in the report. If cleared, all information, including the lowest level of detail, prints on the report.

Print voided/NSF checks

If selected, it includes any voided checks and checks returned due to nonsufficient funds.

Print miscellaneous receipts

If selected, it includes any miscellaneous receipts in the report.

Print credit memo

If selected, it includes any credit memos in the report.

Print customize options on report

If selected, it prints a list of the options that you select.

Report contents

Column

Description

Receipt date

The date of the receipt

Receipt type

Indicates if the receipt is a client receipt, miscellaneous receipt, credit memo, or pending deposit

Method

The method of payment, such as check or electronic funds transfer (EFT)

Method ID

Optional identification number for the receipt, such as a check number or routing ID

Amount

The amount of the receipt

Refund

The amount of any refunds associated with the receipt

Deposit Date

The date that the receipt was deposited

Project

The project associated with the receipt

Account

The number of the account associated with the receipt

Date

The invoice date

Total Paid

The amount of the invoice that has been paid

Labor

The amount paid that was applied to labor

Expense

The amount paid that was applied to expenses

Consultant

The amount paid that was applied to consultants

Adjustment

The amount paid that was applied to adjustments

Tax

The amount paid that was applied to sales tax

Prepayment

The amount applied as a prepayment on the receipt. This amount does not include refunds.

Refund

The amount of the prepayment refunded
