Bank Reconciliation report

Use this report to:

  • Print a file copy of your bank register, as needed. In some cases, you may need to provide your CPA with a printout.
  • Verify that the bank register balances to the cash account balance in the Trial Balance. The Balance As Of amount on the Bank Reconciliation report should equal the Trial Balance cash account balance. Be sure to produce the Trial Balance report using the Balance As Of date from the Bank Reconciliation report.
  • Verify that the credit card register balances to the credit card payable account in the Trial Balance.
  • Review the cleared and outstanding detail. Within these sections, the report groups bank entries together by type (such as Checks and Deposits, Electronic Funds Transfer, and Interest).

To produce the Bank Reconciliation report:

  1. From the Manage menu, click Bank Register.
  2. Click the Reconcile tab.
  3. If the statement for which you want to produce the report is not for the bank account listed, select a different bank account by clicking .
  4. In the Bank Statement table at the upper right of the window, select the date of the statement for which you want to produce the report. Entries for the statement you select appear in the main table of the window.
  1. Click Print.
  2. If you make changes to the bank statement, click Save and click Print to see your changes reflected in the report.
Note: For credit card statements, the report includes an amount for unpaid balance. The unpaid balance is the amount remaining to pay on the vendor invoices that Ajera creates when you close the credit card statement.
