Acceptance Criteria Tab

Field Description
Minimum Acceptance Score

Select the score that the schedule must attain in order to be accepted. You can select a number between 0 and 100.

Touchstone compares an uploaded schedule to the acceptance criteria metrics and scores the schedule based on the metric influence selector values. If the score is equal to or greater than the score listed here, the schedule passes and Touchstone displays Accepted in the Submittals view Status column. If the score is less than the score listed here, Touchstone displays Rejected in the Submittals Status column and the submitter can view a report of the issues that caused the schedule to fail.

Note: No matter whether or not the schedule passes or fails, the submitter and reviewer can view a report of the issue found by the metric in the submitted schedule.
Remarks

Use this field to add any additional information or description about the score or the appropriate use of this acceptance criteria.

Scoring Method
Select the method you want Touchstone to use to evaluate metrics used for calculating the score.
  • Average of Metrics: With metric-base scoring, Touchstone calculates the score using an average of the metric scores. Metric-based scoring allows incremental improvements to tasks to be reflected in the overall score. The metric-based method typically produces higher scores, as a single task needs to fail in multiple areas simultaneously in order to receive a very low score.
  • Submittal Fails if One Metric Fails: This method calculates the score on a per-record basis and the final score is an average of the per-record scores. This places a premium on absolute compliance with the assigned metrics. The breach of any single metric on a task prevents those tasks from receiving a "passing grade." This is the default setting.
Folder

This is the folder where the metric is located.

Metric

This is the name of the metric.

Influence Selector / Influence Value

Use the influence Selector to indicate how one metric counts towards the overall score for a group of metrics. You can choose values on a +/- 10-point sliding scale. The higher the value, the more impact the metric in question has on the score. By default, metric selectors are set to the midpoint on the scale which has no impact on the score. This allows you to include metrics for reporting purposes.

Move the Influence Selector slider or enter a value in the Influence Value field to adjust the value of each metric. When you adjust the Influence Selector, the Influence Value changes accordingly and vice versa.

For each condition that the schedule meets, it accumulates a point value, whether the point value is negative or positive. The score is then normalized on a scale of 0 to 100 and compared to the Minimum Acceptance Score.

Access Control Tab

Field Description
Group

This list includes all groups listed in EPM Security Administrator and is sorted by group description. Select a group to whom you want to grant access. When you select a group, the User column is disabled.

Owner

This is the name of the field mapping template's owner and is only editable on this tab. The name that displays is from the EPM Security Administrator (EPM SA) User General tab First Name and Last Name fields for the owner. If those fields are blank, it displays the EPM SA User ID name for the owner.

It is a read-only field in the Field Mapping Template's List view.

Only the owner and a member of the SYSADMIN group can edit this field. In edit mode, you can select a different name from the drop-down list. The list includes all users who have been assigned a named license in EPM Security Administrator.

When you make a copy of an acceptance criteria template you become the owner and this field changes to your First Name + Last Name or User ID.

Role

This list includes all roles listed in EPM Security Administrator and is sorted by role description. This is an optional field.

The OWNER_DELEGATE role gives a user or a member of a group the same rights as the owner, including the ability to edit the access control information. It does not allow the user or group member to change the owner.

User

This list is sorted alphabetically by first name and includes all users who have been assigned to a named license. The list includes first and last name and user ID in parentheses. Select the user to whom you want to grant access. When you select a user, the Group column is disabled.
