Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Project Fields on the Metrics Tab

Some project level fields get automatically imported during a project import. These fields are automatically exposed and can be used within metric formulas.

When a metric is calculated that contains a project field reference, the specific project field value for the activity in question is used. A single metric calculation may contain activities from multiple projects. In this instance, the appropriate project level field value will be used for each activity (for example, "time now" may be different for each of the projects).

Project fields include:
  • Project Start [ProjectStart]
  • Project Finish [ProjectFinish]
  • Project Time Now [ProjectTimeNow]
    • Some products call this the Status Date.
  • Project Target Finish [ProjectTargetFinish]

    The data comes from:

    • Open Plan: The Project Target Finish field
    • Primavera P6: The Project Must Finish By field
    • Microsoft Project: N/A (does not have such a field)
    • IPMDAR SPD: N/A (does not have such a field)
    • Safran Project: N/A (does not have such a field)
    • Powerproject: N/A (does not have such a field)
    • Phoenix: N/A (does not have such a field)
    • UN/CEFACT: N/A (does not have such a field)
