Using the Help Search
  • Phrase:Returns all topics that contain the exact phrase in the search criteria. Use quotation marks around the phrase.
    Ex."system administration"
  • And:Returns all topics that contain all the words in the search criteria, in any combination. Insert a plus sign between all words in the search criteria.
    Ex.system + administration
  • Or:Returns all topics with any combination of words in the search criteria. This is the default.

Oracle Primavera Command on the S1 // Projects Tab

Click this command or use the commands in the drop-down menu to create a link to an Oracle Primavera file.

Import

Field Description
Single Project from a P6 XER file Select this option to import a single P6 project from an XER file. After you select the file, a Select a Primavera P6 Project dialog box displays, allowing you to select the project you want to import.
Multiple Projects from a P6 XER file If the XER contains multiple projects, you can select this option to import all projects contained in the XER file.
All Projects from a P6 XER file as a single Project Select this option to import all projects contained in an XER file as a single project.
Project from a P6 XML file Select this option to import a P6 project that has been stored in the Primavera XML file. When the Primavera P6 XML file contains projects and baselines, Acumen displays the list of all the projects and baselines included in the XML file.
Single or Multiple Projects from P6 Web Services Select this option to import single or multiple P6 projects using web services.
Primavera Risk Analysis Select this option to import data from an Oracle Primavera Risk Analysis or Pertmaster plan.

Create Schedule

Field Description
Create New Primavera XER P6 Schedule Select this option to create a new XER P6 schedule.

Baseline

Note: When you select any of the following options, Acumen either re-imports the P6 XML project automatically (if you select the Automatic import schedule option on the Platforms – General section of the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box) or displays a message prompting you to import the project again.
Field Description
Assign / Change Baseline Select this option to assign or change a baseline.
Assign / Change Baseline and Add Snapshot Select this option to assign or change a baseline and add a snapshot.
Clear Baseline Select this option to delete a previously set baseline.

XER File Encoding

Field Description
Set Text Encoding XER files do not include any information about what is being used to encode the files. If the file you are importing does not use standard encoding (for example, it uses Russian instead of English), then the characters may not display correctly when you import the file. After you link to an Oracle Primavera project, select it in the Projects pane, then select this option to set the text encoding before you import the data.
