Ribbon Commands on the Fields Tab

Use the ribbon commands to perform such tasks as map fields and save templates.

Source Fields

Field Description
Map to All Projects If your workbook contains multiple projects or snapshots, you can use this option to map a single field (standard, user, code) to all projects or snapshots with a single click instead of repeating the field mapping process manually for each project.
Map All Code Fields for this Project If you need to map all code fields from a source project or snapshot, you can use this option to assign all code fields to the workbook in a single click.

By default, all code fields are auto-mapped during an import. This feature can be disabled in the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box.

Map All Code Fields for All Projects If you need to map all code fields from a source project or snapshot to multiple projects, you can use this option to assign all code fields for all the projects in the workbook in a single click. Acumen will map all common codes within each source file to all projects within the workbook.

By default, all code fields are auto-mapped during an import. This feature can be disabled in the Deltek Acumen Options dialog box.

Map All User Fields for All Projects If you need to map all user fields from a source project/snapshot to multiple projects, you can use this option to assign all user fields to the workbook in a single click.

Mapped Fields

Field Description
Delete Select a mapped field, then click this command to delete the mapped field from the list of fields. The Acumen field is not removed from the product, only deleted from the list.
Load Default Mapping Click this command to reset field mappings within a workbook.

Activity Fields

Field Description
Delete Select an activity field then click this command to remove the field and all of its associated field mappings.

Templates

Field Description
Open Use this command to open a saved mapping template.
Save Use this command to save a set of mappings as a template. The template will save as an XML file with .fieldmap appended to the filename. For example, if the project is called Schedule1, then the filename is Schedule1.fieldmap.xml.
