Help

This item of the Deltek PM Compass hierarchy controls the entire Help menu in PM Compass.

Disabling this item also disables all of the menu items found on the menu, such as Internal Help Desk and Customer Care Connect. When you enable this item, all of its child items are also enabled by default. You can, however, define the permissions for each item on the Help menu individually.

In addition, some options that are not menu objects do not use the Enabled/Disabled setting because the said setting is related to the enabling or disabling the object on a menu. Although it still displays on the context menu, selecting either Enabled or Disabled does not have any effect.

The following items can be found within the Help menu:

Internal Help Desk When you enable this, users and group members assigned to this role can access the Send Email dialog box, which allows you to send a message to Deltek's internal help desk.
Deltek Customer Care When you enable this, users and group members assigned to this role can access Deltek's Customer Care Connect site, which allows you to send a message to the company's internal help desk.
Contact Us Enabling this item allows users and group members assigned this role to browse product guides, release notes, and other knowledge base articles on the Knowledge Base page of the Deltek Customer Care Web site.
