File

This item of the Cobra hierarchy controls the entire File menu in Cobra.

Disabling this option also disables all of the menu items found in the File menu, such as creating or opening projects, calendars, and codes. When you enable this item, all of its child items are also enabled by default. However, you can define the permissions for each item in the File menu individually.

This item contains the following items:

New	This item controls access to the following menu items: Projects — Enabling this item allows you to create a new project file. Calendars — Enabling this item allows you to create a new calendar file. Codes — Enabling this item allows you to create a new code file. Rates — Enabling this item allows you to create a new rate file. Resources — Enabling this item allows you to create a new resource file.
Manage Files	This item controls access to the following menu items: Backup — Enabling this item allows you to create backup of any selected files in the list. Restore — Enabling this item allows you to restore selected backup files.
Integration	This item controls access to the Integration menu items: Integration Wizard — This item controls access to the Integration Wizard. Actual Cost — This option is always visible. Disabling this item prevents you from loading actual costs. Project Data — This option is always visible. Disabling this item prevents you from loading schedule data from Open Plan, Microsoft Project, Primavera, or text files. Ancillary Data — This option is always visible. Disabling this item prevents you from loading codes, resources, rates and calendar information from a text file. wInsight — This item controls access to the wInsight Wizard. ANSI X12 — Enabling this item allows you to export program information to other applications that support version 3040 or 4010 of the ANSI X12 Transaction Set 839 Project Cost Reporting. Configuration Security — Enabling this item allows you to modify configuration securities of supported applications. In this version, only the wInsight Wizard and Integration Wizard configuration securities can be edited . Create New Configurations — Enabling this item allows you to set up new configuration securities.
Login	This item controls access to the Cobra Login screen, which allows you to login as a different user.
