Replace a Forgotten Password

If you forget your password, you can replace it with a new password on the login page.

This procedure requires that your user information includes an email address.

To replace a forgotten password:

  1. Open PPM Administrator to display the login page.
  2. Click Forgot your password or user ID?.
  3. In the Log In Assistance dialog box, select I forgot my password and then enter your User ID.
    The link is available when all PPM products in the selected data source are compatible with PPM Administrator.
  4. Click Send.
    • If the user ID is valid and has an associated email address, an email message that contains a temporary password is sent to that address. Follow the directions in the email message to reset your password the next time that you log in.

    • If the user ID is not valid or does not have an associated email address, an error message displays. Click OK to return to the login page and then contact your system administrator for assistance.
