Link Expenses Subtask

Use this subtask to link an "outgoing" account and organization to the receiving project's account listed on the main screen.

If you decide to link more than one account from the sending project to the receiving project, you can list each in this subtask. You can link all accounts (and all burdens) to one account. The less information you enter on a row, the more data is included on that line.

Field Description
Account Enter, or click to select, the account that posts to the account identified in the screen header. If you leave this column blank, but fill in other columns on the same row, all accounts are used for that row. Remember that all labor and non-labor accounts in the sending project’s project account group must be included in this table.
Organization Enter, or click to select, the organization that posts to the account identified in the screen header. Leave this field blank to specify all organizations if other columns on the same row are populated.
Fiscal Year Enter, or click to select, the fiscal year from all open fiscal years. This is the year from which you would like to extract the data and post the offset entry. If you leave this optional column empty, data from all years is transferred.
Pool Enter, or click to select, the pool number that burdens the costs for this account/organization combination.
COM Enter Y (Yes) to include the Cost of Money (COM) in the transfer process. Enter N (No) to exclude the COM.
Fee Select this check box to include the fee on costs in the transfer process. The default for this check box is cleared.
Retainage Select this check box to include retainage costs in the transfer process. The default for this check box is cleared.
Over Ceiling Select this check box to include the over ceiling amounts in the transfer process. The default for this check box is cleared.
