JE Details Subtask

Use this subtask of the View Journal Entries screen to view details of each record in the JE Header table window.

Note: For Costpoint Cloud, you can choose to opt in to Feature 2418721: Visibility Enhancements for AI-Powered Journal Entry Assessments for the Costpoint 2026.1 release. The ability to opt-in is temporary and will be removed when the feature becomes automatically enabled for all users as part of a future Costpoint release. See the Manage Opt-in Features topic for more information.
Field Description
Line

This field displays the system-assigned number for the journal entry detail line.

Dela Reason

This field displays the basis for the decision displayed in the Dela Review field.

Account

This field displays the number of the account for the journal entry detail line.

Organization

This field displays the ID of the organization for the journal entry detail line.

Project

This field displays the ID of the project for the journal entry detail line.

Debit

This field displays the debit amount in functional currency.

Credit

This field displays the credit amount in functional currency

Trans Debit

This field displays the debit amount in transaction currency.

Trans Credit

This field displays the credit amount in transaction currency

JE Line Description

This displays the description for the journal entry line.

Hours

This field displays employee or subcontractor labor hours.

Trans Currency

This field displays the transaction currency.

Account Name

This field displays the name of the account.

Organization Name

This field displays the organization name.

Project Name

This displays the project name.

Journal Code

This field displays the journal entry code. It is an abbreviation of the journal entry type.

  • AJE: Adjusting journal entries
  • REV: Reversal adjusting journal entries
  • IWA: Intracompany work assignment entries
  • BSR: Balance sheet revaluation entries
  • STL: Settlement journal entries
Notes

This field displays notes about the journal entry detail line.

This field displays reference 1.

Ref2

This field displays reference 2.
