Details Subtask

Use this subtask of the Financial Statement Comparison Inquiry screen to view financial statement balances and line details based on the selection criteria you entered on the screen header, and compare the information to prior fiscal years and periods.

This subtask displays balances for the selected period, prior periods, fiscal years, and year-to-date (YTD) totals to help you assess financial performance trends.

You can also drill down from this subtask into the Account Activity Totals subtask to view account activity for a selected financial statement line.

Field	Description
Fiscal Year	This field displays the value you entered in the Start field of the Selection Ranges group box.
Accounting Period	This field displays the value you entered in the Period field of the Selection Ranges group box.
Description	This field displays the Line Description, Account ID, and Account Name.
Period	This field displays the financial statement group or line balance for the selected period.
Pd Bud	This field displays the budget amount for the selected period.
Pd Var	This field displays the difference between the budget and balance for the selected period.
Prior Period	This field displays the financial statement group or line balance for the preceding period.
Prior Pd Var	This field displays the difference between the current period and preceding period balances.
Prior Pd % Change	This field displays the percentage change between the current period balance and the prior period balance.
Prior Year Period	This field displays the financial statement group or line balance for the same period in the preceding fiscal year.
PY PD Var	This field displays the difference between the current period balance and the balance for the same period in the preceding fiscal year.
PY Pd % Change	This field displays the percentage change between the current period balance and the balance for the same period in the preceding fiscal year.
YTD	This field displays the year-to-date balance for the financial statement group or line.
YTD Bud	This field displays the year-to-date budget amount.
YTD Var	This field displays the difference between the YTD budget and YTD balance.
Prior YTD	This field displays the YTD balance for the preceding fiscal year.
Prior YTD Var	This field displays the difference between the current YTD balance and the YTD balance for preceding fiscal year.
Prior YTD % Change	This field displays the percentage change between the current YTD balance and the YTD balance for the preceding fiscal year.
