The User Security Groups screen allows you to create separate menu structures for single users or groups of users. These menu structures can be used to apply additional application level security by denying or granting rights to each application by user or group.
Additionally, a Security Group field is included on the User Setup and Maintenance screen, where you can assign a user to a specific security group.
Note the following guidelines when creating User Security Groups:
If the User Security Group restricts access to certain areas of Budgeting & Planning, those areas are not visible to members of the group, even when the license type allows it.
If the User Security Group allows access to certain areas of Budgeting & Planning, those areas will only be visible to the user or group members if the license type also allows it.
