Use this screen to establish standard units of measure and their conversions. A unit of measure identifies how the quantity of an item is measured. You can set up part-specific units of measure conversions on the Manage Parts screen.
You can also access this screen in Purchasing.
Enter a unit of measure code. You assign a units of measure code to each item in the appropriate screen: Manage Parts, Manage Services, or Manage Goods. The unit of measure for an item also defaults onto the purchase order line but can be modified there. This field is required.
