The Maintain Project Budget Security screen is used to set up Project Budget Approvers at the top level of the Project and under that approver separately assign Project Budget Creators at lower levels of the Project.
Whatever level of the Project the Approver and Creator are assigned, all levels below will also be included.
To use this screen, the Project Security to be based option in Planning » Administration » Administration Controls » Configuration Settings (MAM10) must be set to “Project Budget Security.”
Click to select the Project ID.
Mark this check box to include expired projects in your query.
The table below describes the columns that display for the Project Budget Approvers and Creator grid.

If the row has been populated from the Project Manager field in Projects » Project Setup » Project Master » Manage Project User Flow , this column displays "Project Manager”. This update occurs automatically when the screen is opened. These entries cannot be deleted from the table, because they are not permanently stored in the Planning Domain. If an entry was manually added, the user’s name displays this field. Manually added approvers always display, unless manually deleted from the table. If any users were migrated to Project Budget Security, MAP8 will be displayed in this column. |
