Use this screen to define and view maintenance types for equipment and/or work centers. You can set up both preventive and repair maintenance types and use these types to record when maintenance was performed and when it is next required.
Set up this screen when initializing Costpoint Routings and maintain it whenever modifications are made to maintenance types.
You can enter maintenance types in this table window when you click the New Record button on the toolbar.
Enter the code assigned to the maintenance type. You can enter up to 12 characters in this field.
Enter a description of the maintenance type. You can enter up to 60 characters in this field.
Select the Maintenance class from the drop-down list. The values are:
Repair
Preventive
Calibration
Enter the frequency (in days or units) to indicate how often this maintenance type should typically be performed.
Select the Freq Type from the drop-down list. The values are:
Days
Units
Enter the number of hours typically required to perform this maintenance type.
Enter additional notes applicable to this maintenance type. You can enter up to 256 characters in this field.
