Use this screen to copy or create new Project Labor Categories.
The PLC functionality uses time phased rates. These rates can be added and linked to existing PLCs to extend rates for future budget planning. For Costpoint clients, the time phased PLC rate information will be uploaded from Costpoint.
The following information displays in the Burden Cost subtasks.

Each resource, with the default labor account and PLC assigned, is pulled in from time collection. |
PLC Description |
This column displays the description of the PLC. |
Link to Project PLC |
Select Link to Project PLC if you want to link the accounting system PLC to the project PLC. When the PLCs are linked, the accounting PLCs can be cloned when the project PLCs are cloned. When two PLCs are linked, the rate from the accounting system PLC is used for any of the existing date ranges. |
Project PLC |
If you selected Link to Project PLC, click the Project PLC drop-down list to display all of the PLCs assigned to the project. |
Project PLC Description |
If you selected Link to Project PLC, this field displays the description that was applied to it. |
Cloned |
This field indicates whether the PLC was cloned from another Project. |
Originating Project |
This field displays the project from which the PLC was cloned |
You can copy or create new PLC Billing Rates Schedules using this table. The following information displays:

Start Date |
This column displays the date when the rate will take effect. If this field is blank, the start date will be the beginning of the project. |

Clone Acctng PLCs Links
Select this check box to clone accounting PLCs.
