Use this subtask to view information on the cost of an item assigned to a project. Use it when you want to view project item cost information.
This field displays the ID of the selected item. The item description is also displayed.
This field displays the revision of the selected item.
This field displays the unit of measure associated with the item.
This fields displays whether the item is an M (Make) or B (Buy) item.
This field displays Y (Yes) or N (No) for the active status of this item.
This column displays the project ID to which the item is assigned.
This column displays the project name.
This column displays the cost type of the item:
S (Standard) — The system calculates this cost type based upon the cost elements entered for cost type S.
R (Reference) — The system calculates this cost type based upon the cost elements entered for cost type R.
A (Average) — This cost type is automatically calculated by system transactions.
L (Last) — Costpoint automatically updates this cost type when the most recent receipt transaction has been processed.
This column displays the total unit cost for this cost type.
This field displays the starting date of the cost row validity. For new rows with Cost type of Standard or Reference, initial value is the current date, otherwise this is blank.
This field displays the ending date of the cost row validity.

This column displays the cost per unit amount of material for this item.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of material burden for this item. Material burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of labor for this item.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of labor burden for this item. Labor burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of subcontracted services for this item.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of subcontract burden for this item. Subcontract burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 1 expense for this.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 1 expense burden for this item. Miscellaneous 1 burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 2 expense for this.
This column displays the cost per unit amount of miscellaneous 2 expense burden for this item. Miscellaneous 2 burden is the cost added to cover overhead expenses.
