MANAGE SALES REPRESENTATIVES

Use this screen to set up sales representatives and associate them with employees, territories, and telephone numbers. You must link sales representatives to at least one employee. Sales orders grouped by sales representatives can be useful when creating ad hoc reports and commission calculations.

Initialize this screen when you set up Sales Order Entry. If you plan to use the screen during the sales order process, establish sales representatives before entering orders.

Identification

Sales Representative Code

Enter an identification code for the sales representative.

Sales Representative Info

Employee

Enter, or click to select, an employee ID. This ID should be active on the Manage Employee Information screen in the Employee module. You can assign an employee to more than one sales representative code; However, a sales representative code can be associated with only one employee. After you have entered a valid employee ID, the employee name displays in the adjacent field.

Territory

Enter, or click to select, a territory for the sales representative. Establish sales territories on the Manage Sales Territories screen in Accounts Receivable.

Enter the primary telephone number for this sales representative.

Fax

Enter the fax number for this sales representative.
