INVENTORY ALLOCATIONS

Use this subtask to view warehouse locations with positive on hand or in shipping quantities for a selected line's part/inventory abbreviation/warehouse combination.

Part, Rev, Description, U/M, Inventory Abbrev, Inv Abbrev Name, Warehouse, Location, Location Quantity

These fields display values from the main screen.

Lot Number

This column displays the lot number of the inventory that is allocated or available for further allocations. This field is hidden if lot tracking is not applicable for the part/project combination or part (if a part/project combination is not available).

Serial Number

This column displays the serial number of the inventory that is allocated or available for further allocations.

This column is hidden if lot tracking is not applicable for the part/project combination or part (if a part/project combination is not available).

Order Allocation Quantity

This column displays the inventory quantity that has been allocated to the reservation line displayed in the header section.

Order

This column displays the order number of either the purchase order, sales order, or manufacturing order from which the serial/lot originated.

Order Line

This column displays the order line number of either the purchase order, sales order, or manufacturing order from which the serial/lot originated.

Order Type

This column displays either the PO, if the serial/lot originated from a purchase order; SO, if it originated from a sales order; or MO, if it originated from a manufacturing order.

Reservation

This column displays the inventory reservation ID for the components/subassemblies requirements.

Res Line

This column displays the inventory reservation line to which inventory allocations are applicable.

Serial/Lot Creation Date

This column displays the day and time the serial/lot record was created.

Vendor Warranty Exp Date

This column displays the date on which the vendor's warranty expires.

Shelf Life Exp Date

This column displays the shelf life expiration date of the serial/lot.

UID

This column displays the unique item identifier (UID). This is a globally unique alphanumeric code that allow the U.S. Department of Defense to track individual items.

UID Type

This column displays the code that represents the method used to create the UID code. The UID types defined in Costpoint are:

·         ESN - Electronic Serial Number (Telecommunications Industry Association)

·         GIAI - EAN.UCC Global Individual Asset Identifier

·         GRAI - EAN.UCC Global Returnable Asset Identifier

·         OTHER - For UIDs without an assigned UID type

·         UID1 - Unique Identification Construct 1, Serialization within the Enterprise. If the Unique Across Parts serial tracking option is selected on the Configure Serial/Lot Settings screen and you want Costpoint to generate UIDs, select this option. Because serial numbers are unique for all parts, the UID does not include the part number. The generated UID consists of the issuing agency, followed by the enterprise identifier and serial number.

·         UID2 - Unique Identification Construct 2, Serialization within the Original Part. If the Unique By Part serial tracking option is selected on the Configure Serial/Lot Settings screen and you want Costpoint to generate UIDs, select this option. The UID includes the part number to make it unique. The generated UID consists of the issuing agency, followed by the UID enterprise identifier, part number, and serial number. The part revision number is not used.

·         VIN - Vehicle Identification Number

UID Issuing Agency

This column displays the code that identifies the agency that assigned the UID Enterprise Identifier. Examples of issuing agency codes include:

·         LB - U.S. Department of Defense (DoDAAC)

·         UN - Dun & Bradstreet (DUNS)

·         D - Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE)

UID Enterprise Identifier

This column displays the unique enterprise identifier code for the organization that is responsible for assigning the UID.

Manufacturer

This column displays the ID of the manufacturer who created the serial/lot.

Manufacturer Name

This column displays the name of the manufacturer.

Manufacturer Part

This column displays the manufacturer part number of the serial/lot.

Manuf Rev

This column displays the manufacturer revision number for the serial/lot.

Vendor

This column displays the ID of the vendor who supplied the serial/lot.

Vendor Name

This column displays the name of the vendor.

Vendor Part

This column displays the vendor serial number of the serial/lot.

Vendor Rev

This column displays the vendor revision number for the serial/lot.

Manuf/Vendor Serial Number

This column displays the manufacturer/vendor serial number for the part.

Manuf/Vendor Lot Number

This column displays the manufacturer/vendor lot number for the part.

Vendor Warranty

This column displays the vendor warranty code assigned by the vendor.

Vendor Warranty Start Date

This column displays the date on which the vendor's warranty began for the serial/lot.

Customer Warranty

This column displays the warranty code assigned to the customer.

Customer Warranty Start Date

This column displays the date on which the customer's warranty began for the serial/lot.

Customer Warranty Expiration Date

This column displays the date on which the customer's warranty expires for this serial/lot.

Maintenance Purchased

This column displays Y if the customer has purchased maintenance for the item. Otherwise, this field displays N.

Maintenance SO Release

This column displays the sales order release for the maintenance provided to the customer.

Maintenance Sales Order

This column displays the sales order number for the maintenance provided to the customer.

Maintenance SO Line

This column displays the sales order line for the maintenance provided to the customer.

Sales Order Tag No

This column displays the sales order tag number for the serialized item.
