Use this screen to create a proposal, either from scratch or from an existing budget, EAC, or proposal, or to create a non-backlog project budget from a proposal or another non-backlog project budget.
Under Source, select the source you want to use to create the proposal or non-backlog project budget. Options include the following:
Budget - Sele0ct this option to create a proposal from a budget.
EAC - Select this option to create a proposal from an EAC.
Proposal - Select this option to create a proposal from an existing proposal.
Non Backlog - Select this option to create a non-backlog project budget from a proposal or from another non-backlog project budget.
None - Select this option to create the proposal from scratch.
Information from the selected source displays in the remaining fields under Source. Here you can view the Version number, Organization ID, Account Group, Cost Type, Start Date, End Date and Periods. The fields that display vary based on the source you selected.
Under Destination, select the type of proposal output you want to create. Options include the following:
Proposal - Select this option to create a proposal from the selected source.
Non-Backlog- Select this option to create a non-backlog proposal. Non backlog proposals can be created only from a proposal or another non-backlog proposal.
Unless you are creating the proposal from scratch, some information auto-populates from the original source project. You can modify field information in the Version number, Organization ID, Account Group, Cost Type, Start Date, End Date and Periods.
Click Create to generate the destination output.
