Preparing your logo
To print your company logo on reports, invoices, or statements, you
must first prepare the graphics file that contains your logo and then
attach it in Ajera.
Prepare your logo
- Review this recommendation:
For performance and data storage reasons,
Deltek recommends using logo files that are less than 100,000 bytes in
size. In terms of format, .JPG and .PNG
are preferred over .BMP, as these are compressed and
take less disk space - .PNG
compresses without a loss in image fidelity, and .JPG
allows further compression with a slight image distortion.
- Ensure that the logo is
in a graphics file with the following size:
Reports
|
A width of 4 inches and a height of 1 inch
|
Invoices and statements
|
A width of 7 1/2 inches and a height of 1 inch
|
If your company logo is
smaller than the required size, Ajera automatically stretches it to a
width of 4 inches and a height of 1 inch. If your company logo is larger,
Ajera automatically shrinks it.
- If
your logo is larger than the required size, before continuing with these
instructions, first use a graphics editor to resize the file.
- Open
the graphics file that contains your logo.
- Open
one of the Ajera templates located in the Ajera/Program/Standard Reports
folder on the network drive where Ajera is installed:
Reports
|
Template_Logo_Reports.bmp
|
Invoices and statements
|
Template_Logo_Invoices.bmp
|
- Copy
your logo into the template.
- Justify
your logo in the graphics file depending on where you want it to print.
For example, to print the logo on the left of the logo area for a report,
left-justify the logo in your graphics file.
- With
the Save As command, save your file with a new name that identifies your
logo.
